Weekly Full of Win 6/22 – 6/28

This week’s Full of Win post award is awarded with pleasure to Michelle Moore of “A Traditional Life Lived” for her Face Punch Wednesday post on 6/23.  Face Punch Wednesday is long held favorite of mine and it usually echoes my own personal desire to punch certain idiots in the face for… well… their idiocy.  This week’s Face Punch Wednesday post has done that once again.  I highly recommend tuning into Michelle’s blog if for nothing else than a good chuckle at the delicious thought of physically fighting back against sheer stupidity. Weekly Full of Win 6/8 – 6/14

This past week was filled with some very good, very imaginative, and down right funny blog posts across the net. Nonetheless, there was one that stood out from the pack… and coincidentally follows in the line of last week’s Full of Win winner.

Most of you have probably heard of TOTUS, Barack Obama’s number 1. TOTUS, on his site BOTelemprompter.com & baracksteleprompter.blogspot.com gives us all an inside look at the goings on in the most “transparent” administration in history. Ironically, or not-so-coincidentally, TOTUS is transparent. But I digress.

TOTUS’ female teleprompter objectification post may offend a few teleprompters…and certainly won’t tug at your heart strings… But it will tug at your sense of humor, and in this writer’s eyes, is most definitely Full of Win.

**Be sure to click the title link to be taken to TOTUS’ blog site to read the full post.

Warning: Objectification of Female Teleprompters Ahead

As Big Guy and I spent a little time in France I’ve watched this outrageous story unfolding in the U.S. about this disgusting “Playboy” article in which the author claims to want to do hurtful things of a sexual nature to conservative women. Well, that got me thinking. There are a number of TelePrompters in politics and media I have long lusted after. And while some may accuse me of objectifying female TelePrompters, what can I say? We’re objects. So here’s my list of paramours:

Full of Win 6/1 – 6/7

This week’s Full of Win post of the week goes to Tabitha Hale (a conservative woman and true feminist) at PinkElephantPundit.com.  In her blog post regarding the despicable piece written by Guy Cimbalo for Play Boy Online she hits the nail on the head not once, not twice, not thrice… but FOUR times.

I penned an article regarding this issue here.  But no one is more qualified to speak out for women that suffer this brutal double-standard than a conservative woman… and one who does so at point blank range.  Tabitha, a real feminist and conservative, lays waste to any attempt to say that there is no double standard with blunt efficiency… like kitchen demolition with a sledge hammer.

Be sure to click on the title – it will take you to her article – and read the whole thing… There is also an update on her blog.

Playboy Publishes Rape Fantasy List

Posted by Tabitha Hale on June 1, 2009

Playboy writer Guy Cimbalo published what might be one of the most offensive articles I’ve seen in a long time. I ranted about it on RFC Radio earlier, but I am still fired up enough to express my fury in words.

Weekly Full Of Win Post 5/24 – 5/31

This week’s Full of Win post of the week winner is none other than Manly Rash of Manly’s Republic for his informative and humorous post developing RINOdar.

How to Develop Your RINOdar

norinosA few years ago I encountered  the word “gaydar” after a New Year’s Eve party at a relative’s house. The daughter of a family friend, Alexandra, showed up with a date. He was a very handsome young gentleman and I thought they made a nice couple, as she was a very attractive young woman.

….

I suppose the proper construct of word would be RINOdar and, like gaydar, it can be a tricky seventh sense to master.  Hopefully, this little guide will help you to hone sharp your RINOdar sense and enable you to spot these creatures from a greater distance, thereby allowing more time to decide whether to engage the beasts or not.

Weekly Full of Win Post 5/10 – 5/17

Forgive the tardiness of this post.  As said in a separate post – I suffered catastrophic hardware failure and spent the better part of the weekend and yesterday recovering files and re-installing my operating systems and programs.

Without further ado I give you the weekly Full of Win winners.  Normally there is only one winner and I typically restrict it to non-professional blogs (i.e. Wall Street Journal online, etc are professional).  However, this week we saw a very humorous post from IowaHawk and got special treat from Peter Heck at OneNewsNow.com.  IowaHawk delivered some laugh out loud hilarity – which, sadly, is all also very true.  I had tears reading it… My sides still hurt.

Our next winner here brings back a more somber tone with an eloquently delivered “shame on you” to Barack Obama for his Apology tour.  Frankly, no one has said it better than Mr. Heck.  I encourage you all to read it.  It’s worth it!

(Please click the bolded titles to read the whole post at the winner’s site)

From IowaHawk:

I Guess You Had To Be There

The Barack Obama Celebrity Roast

(Thundering tympanies, swirling spotlights)

Announcer

Live! From the fabulous Turtle Bay Ballroom at United Nations Headquarters, it’s the Rat Pack of Evil All-Star International Celebrity Roast of President Barack Obama!

(orchestra fanfare: ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’)

From Peter Heck at OneNewsNow.com

Arrogant Americans, Mr. President?

As I was sitting in church waiting for the start of the service, my grandpa came walking towards me pointing his finger. No matter how old I get, and no matter how long he’s been out of the U.S. Navy, that’s still an intimidating sight. As he approached me, his voice quivered as he said, “We saved that continent twice…how dare my president apologize for this country’s arrogance.” My grandpa is right. Americans need not apologize to the world for their arrogance; rather, Americans should apologize to their forefathers for the arrogance of their president.

Weekly Full Of Win Post 4/26 – 5/2

Weekly Full Of Win post Award 4/26 – 5/2:

Better late than never.  It was a busy busy weekend so I didn’t get a chance to go through all of the outstanding posts to narrow down to one winner.  There were many great candidates this past week, so it was exceedingly difficult to determine a winner.  However, one post did manage to peak out above the rest.

This weeks winner comes from none other than Michelle Malkin for her recap of the One’s first 100 days.  Witty, snarky, concise and accurate, it’s a must read.  Enjoy!

Weekly Full Of Win Post Winner:

This week has seen many excellent posts worthy of much “Internet Win”.  But, Manly Rash of Manly’s Republic gets the top honors for his post “A Liar Among Liars.”  Mainly because this post is chock full of squishy global warming idiots getting squished and there is even video!  I also saw no other blogs covering this particular angle, and I read a ton of blogs.  Of course, the snarky witticisms help… We all know how much I LOVE a good snark.

So without further ado I give you the week’s Full Of Win post:  (Please click the image or Headline to view the entire post at Manly’s Republic)

A Liar Among Liars – How Convenient

headupIt’s easy to spot a Liberal – among other things, he’s the one shutting down any debate about or inquiry into whatever cockamamie statist scheme he’s proposing. Liberals dread the cleansing sunlight of open inquiry and discussion because it tends disintegrate their arguments in much the same manner sunlight makes vampires crumble into a pile of ash.

That much will become painfully evident today at the audience with His Greenness, Pope Albert a Congressional hearing on climate change, where Al Gore – leading advocate of the climate change hoax who has lined his pockets with over a hundred millions dollars pedaling his pseudo-scientific snake oil – emoted testified before a bi-partisan committee at the behest of the Democrats.

The Republicans originally planned to summon Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, to testify jointly with Al Gore as a rebuttal.
